How to use this
Work top to bottom. Clearing the counter first matters because you cannot judge what belongs there while it is covered. The drawer and other-room steps come after sorting, so you always know where each item is headed. Keep plug-in tools away from sinks and tubs, and leave any outlet or wiring work near the sink to a licensed electrician.
To keep the counter clear, put items back straight away and check it weekly. Anything untouched for a week moves out.
